Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites using themes, plugins, and custom code.
- Collaborate with designers and project managers to implement website designs and functionality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to WordPress websites, including bugs and performance issues.
- Ensure the responsiveness, speed, and scalability of WordPress websites across various devices and browsers.
- Maintain and update website content as needed.
- Work on WordPress migrations and updates, ensuring websites remain up-to-date and secure.
- Assist with creating custom themes and plugins to meet project requirements.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest WordPress trends, tools, and best practices.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Experience: 0-2 years of hands-on experience in WordPress development (internships, personal projects, or freelance work are acceptable).
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Familiarity with WordPress theme development, plugin customization, and page builders like Elementor or WPBakery.
- Understanding of web hosting environments, databases (MySQL), and WordPress architecture.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve common WordPress issues.
- Experience working with version control systems (e.g., Git) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and a desire to learn new technologies.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
